Taking the Tour
As the days grow longer and the weather warmer, the team will be introducing private vineyard tours and tastings at TarraWarra Estate from the 1st September 2023. Learn about the winery’s cool region – the soils, aspects, altitude, rainfall, climate and the vines all contributing to the fruit we grow and the wines that they produce. Get a group of your favourite people together and book in for your opportunity to understand the vineyards and the wines reflecting their sense of place.
Wine tasting at TarraWarra Estate is open to visitors and wine connoisseurs from Tuesday through to Sunday from 11am to 5pm. The Estate wine tasting is $20 per person to taste six wines, while the Premium wine tasting is $30 per person to taste six wines including the reserve and single block wines. Although walk in are welcome, TarraWarra Estate highly recommend groups large than four to make bookings prior to arrival either via email or phone call.
TarraWarra Estate’s subterranean cellar door open its doors in 2016. Designed by Kerstin Thompson Architects, the space is designed to provide guests with insight into the wines and the story and history behind the estate. All of TarraWarra Estate’s wines are grown and made from its twenty-six-hectare vineyard, which is scattered throughout the 400-hectare property. The tastings are meant to guide you on a journey across the Estate, with each wine reflecting the very essence of TarraWarra Estate.
