SWEEPING UP THE AWARDS WITH THE 2024 SKIPPING RABBIT PINOT NOIR

The 2024 Skipping Rabbit Pinot Noir, grown, made and bottled at Kyneton Ridge Estate, scooped up a trio of trophies in 2025. It was awarded the trophy for the Best Pinot Noir at the 2025 Victorian Wine Show (97 points), Gold and the Best Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir Regional Trophy at the Australian Pinot Noir Challenge 2025 and Top Gold and Best Pinot Noir in Show award at The International Cool Climate Wine Show. It was great to be able to showcase Macedon Ranges Pinot Noir amongst over 320 Pinot Noirs from all around Australia and the New Zealand.
Following this success, the next edition, the 2025 Skipping Rabbit Pinot Noir was recently launched in memorable style. The debut coincided with Kyneton Ridge’s first full-scale concert event, creating a vibrant and celebratory atmosphere. For the occasion, the Skipping Rabbit Yacht Club was inaugurated and the Yatchski Brothers delivered an energetic performance of yacht-styled rock hits, helping to mark the release with a strong sense of occasion and community.
In addition to the new 2025 vintage, the 2024 Pinot Noir Reserve has also been released. Positioned as the ‘big brother’ to the Skipping Rabbit range, the Reserve reflects the strength of the 2024 vintage at Kyneton Ridge. Building on this pedigree, the previous 2023 Pinot Noir Reserve received high praise, including a score of 96 points from respected independent wine critic Huon Hooke of Real Reviews, setting strong expectations for the newest release.
