Prancing Horse Estate

Sunday School

Prancing Horse Estate is pleased to reintroduce its inspiring and enlightening Wine and Food Series in 2021 – Sunday School – a fitting name, since for many wine enthusiasts, wine is close to a religion! The renewed program includes a range of subjects such as Burgundy to Beaujolais, A Champagne Star and others.

All sessions include a delicious food component with local delicacies from around the Mornington Peninsula, international cheeses, and a chef-prepared meal to match the wine-in-question. A special program will run over the Winter Wine Weekend on the 13th of June, celebrating local Mornington Peninsula wines compared to their Burgundian counterparts.

Sunday School sessions take place at the beautiful Prancing Horse Estate on Paringa Road in Red Hill, which looks out over the rolling vineyards across to Westernport Bay. The two-hour sessions are great value for money, replete with information, wine tastings and food pairings, plus attendees are also encouraged to ask the experts all their wine-related questions. These experts include the likes of Prancing Horse Estate owner, local and international wine connoisseur Tony Hancy, brand ambassador and WSET Diploma graduate Jane Gordon, wine consultant, sommelier and owner of The Recreation, Mark Protheroe, and biodynamic viticulturist, Shane Strange.

Bookings are essential, so head online to Prancing Horse Estate’s Instagram and Facebook pages to find out all the dates and details.
