Medhurst Wines is pleased to announce that its newly renovated cellar door and café is now complete. Featuring stunning architectural design, the cellar door overlooks the estate’s lush lawn and the rolling hills of the Yarra Valley. Warm, friendly hosts are ready to greet you on arrival, and with spacious lawns and an alfresco dining area, this venue is the perfect place to bring the family.
At the café, the seasonal menu created by local icon and chef Robin Sutcliffe, heroes local produce and is designed to complement the estate-grown wines. The low-cropped vines and small-batch winemaking techniques employed by the winemaker Simon Steele, who received a Len Evans Tutorial Scholarship in 2015, ensures high-quality wines are to be enjoyed at Medhurst wines. All wines on offer are estate-grown and include cool-climate chardonnay and pinot noir, alongside a great rosé.
Open for tastings and lunch from Thursday to Monday, between 11:00am and 5:00pm, Medhurst Wines’ cellar door is sure to be a pleasing addition to your weekend plans.
