News From Byronsvale
As Byronsvale Vineyard & Accommodation looks towards its future, the vineyard preserves its deep commitment to handcrafted winemaking, regenerative vineyard practices, and the preservation of one of Bendigo’s most historic estates.
While the past year brought significant challenges – including the devastating Harcourt fires, which destroyed the majority of Byronsvale Vinyard’s wine stock – the family remains focused on the next chapter.
The year also marked the sad passing of long-time winemaker and dear friend Lindsay Ross, whose knowledge, mentorship, and handcrafted approach helped shape the exceptional wines that so many have come to love.
As a new vintage begins, David Lawson from Black Wallaby Wines of Bridgewater has stepped into the role of winemaker, continuing the family’s commitment to authentic small-batch wines and the preservation of this remarkable property.
The Byronsvale family sincerely thanks everyone for the incredible support shown during this difficult period and warmly welcomes guests to visit, stay among the vines, and experience the beauty, history, and handcrafted wines of this special property
