An Australian Twist On European Cuisine
The Tokar Estate restaurant has been re-vamped, with major renovations transforming the entire estate. The new aesthetic invites visitors to relax, while still offering a premium dining experience. The menu offers a contemporary twist on eastern European cuisine and is headed by Maria Kabal – formerly of Añada Bar & Restaurant. Kabal has created a mouth-watering ‘Feed Us’ menu that is perfect for sharing, while the à la carte menu is still available for those who like to choose their own delicacies.
The cellar door has also moved from the restaurant to its own home. The old family barn has undergone quite the facelift, with bright white walls and a unique chandelier lighting feature, complete with a dedicated 270-degree tasting bar to accommodate large groups. When it comes to the view – that is something that must be seen to be believed.
