The entrance to the cellar door is adorned with gorgeous 200-year-old antique doors that create a welcoming and warm atmosphere for all visitors.
Wild Cattle Creek Estate was established in 2002 and has since been growing premium pinot gris and sangiovese grapes, with other varietals being sourced from nearby vineyards. Wild Cattle Creek Estate produces a wide range of wines including pinot noir, chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon, as well as its awardwinning sparkling pinot noir/chardonnay.
With purpose-built ceremony and reception locations and an on-site function room, Wild Cattle Creek Estate is the perfect venue for weddings or big celebrations. The experienced team are available to help you every step of the way to ensure your event is one to be remembered.
Wild Cattle Creek Estate’s restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, and with a paddock-to-plate philosophy, its head chef focuses on producing tantalising menus that utilise fresh and local ingredients. The ever-changing menu was created to perfectly complement the vineyard’s vast range of wines. Wild Cattle Creek Estate invites you to enjoy share boards and a glass of wine on the deck while overlooking the vineyard, or a sumptuous three-course meal in the restaurant.
With luxurious self-contained accommodation nestled among the vines, Wild Cattle Creek Estate is a one-stop destination. It can accommodate for as little as two guests in the Lotus Villa Spa, and up to six in the Wallace Homestead. Guests staying on the property are offered a discounted cellar door experience, free tutored wine tasting and breakfast provisions.

⇐ 2010 Wild Cattle Creek Estate Chardonnay/Pinot Noir
This impressive wine is a classic blend of chardonnay and pinot noir. Bottle maturation has produced a fresh, creamy wine with delicate brioche flavours. The palate is full with a clean, crisp and dry finish.
⇐ Chardonnay 2015
A vibrant wine with aromas of white peach and citrus. The palate is long and fine with intense stonefruit, citrus and cashew flavours integrated with subtle French oak. A balanced wine of great fruit purity and exceptional natural acidity leading to a powerful and crisp finish.
⇐ Pinot Gris 2016
Crafted in the upper Yarra Valley from hand-picked fruit grown on-site. This pinot gris is a rich and inviting wine with freshness and a textured mouth feel. Subtle floral notes of fresh nashi pear, lychee and ginger spice are complemented on the palate by green apple and yellow peach flavours to create a creamy textured finish.
⇐ Pinot Noir and Chardonnay 2013
A classic blend of pinot noir and chardonnay crafted from select parcels of premium cool-climate fruit. This pinot noir chardonnay was fermented in the bottle, riddled and disgorged by hand following the traditional method of sparkling wine production. Bottle maturation produced a fresh creamy wine with delicate brioche flavours and a clean, crisp and dry finish on the palate – an ideal aperitif.
