There is also an opportunity to wander the breath-taking Rock Correa walking track where individuals can take in spectacular 360˚ views over Dookie’s everchanging rural landscape.
Following a trail of informative signs, walkers can learn about the region’s cultural values and stunning landscape. The track offer those who walk its path more than just stunning vistas, it also serves as a means of raising awareness for the land’s Traditional Owners, the Yorta Yorta people, while highlighting the early European settlement in the region as well as describing the importance of the local flora and fauna. At the pinnacle, a panoramic sign marks the major land points across the countryside.
Working in collaboration with the Yorta Yorta Nation Aboriginal Corporation, Goulburn Broken CMA, and the National Landcare program, it is Tallis Wine’s ambition to raise awareness of the value and importance of the Dookie landscape to all. Its spectacular scenery and abundance of resources has enabled this region to foster life and throughout its history, the Dookie region has attracted a range of people to this spectacular place.
