Kilgour Wines have had a tricky vintage with all the white wines ripening very early, yet they are still maintaining beautiful fruit characters. The pinot gris is a standout with two clones combining for a wonderful wine. Kilgour Wines’ newly bottled 2023 Shiraz is delicious, as promised. Best Old Block contains notes of pepper, clove and mixed spices wafting from the glass and a wonderful medium-bodied depth of flavor.

An exciting look into the winery’s future, in March 2025, the winery is bottling its 2024 cabernet merlot which is promised to be a very popular style. The brand-new shiraz, exquisite pinot gris, soon-to-come cabernet merlot and renowned chardonnay are all an enthusing and delicious part of Kilgour Wines.
