Situated in the Mornington Peninsula, Red Hill Estate is an iconic Australian multi-award-winning wine producer that is not only renowned for its fine wines, but also for its superb panoramic views of Western Port Bay.
Owner Frank Fabrizio oversees the team to ensure each vineyard is nurtured to create and refine the elegant, timeless wines that Red Hill Estate is known for. What makes Red Hill Estate unique is the fusion of the cool climate of the Mornington Peninsula and the range of volcanic and sedimentary soils, which contribute to the growth of pinot grigio, chardonnay, pinot noir, and other grape varieties.
With more than 9 hectares under vine, wine enthusiasts will be mesmerised by the lush landscapes, and can see the winemakers pursuit for perfection in the crafting and refining of Red Hill Estate’s signature wines.
Red Hill Estate celebrated its thirtieth birthday in 2019, while 2020 will showcase cellar door wine events to complement the award-winning, cool-climate vintage releases. At the end of the year, Red Hill Estate’s iconic Winefolk festival will celebrate Australian music, relaxed summer vibes, and top-notch wine, beer, cider, and delicious food.
Red Hill Estate consistently produces premium wines within the Cellar Door Release, Merricks Grove, Single Vineyard, Regional Release, and The Bench at Red Hill Estate labels. To date, these wines have collectively received a plethora of awards at numerous Australian and international wine shows.
The multi-award-winning restaurant, Max’s at Red Hill Estate, has a commendable status as the first winery restaurant on the Mornington Peninsula. With chef Max Paganoni at the helm, his dedication to utilising and promoting local produce is evident in his inspiring, flavourful menu. Max’s at Red Hill Estate has won gold at the QANTAS Australian Tourism Award in 2010, and maintained its highly-regarded status with a silver QANTAS Australian Tourism Award in 2012.

⇐ 2017 Red Hill Estate ‘Merricks Grove’ Pinot Gris
This 2017 Merricks Grove Pinot Gris comes from Red Hill Estate’s acclaimed, multi-award-winning Merricks Grove vineyard and is made from 100 percent Mornington fruit. This gris shows aromas of perfumed florals, nougat and citrus. The palate has flavours of pear, stone fruit and apple with an elegant minerality from the natural acidity. A smooth and creamy finish from the barrel fermentation and yeast stirring gives a real fullness to the mouth.

⇐ 2017 Red Hill Estate Single Vineyard Chardonnay
This Single Vineyard Chardonnay is selected from the highest-quality chardonnay blocks P and Q within the Merricks Grove vineyard. Warm yellow in appearance, this wine has long-lasting flavours of peach, lemon curd, candied lime and nectarine with a vanillin finish. There is a richness and a roundness that makes this a unique release, allowing the palate to evolve with each sip. Will reward careful cellaring up and over 2026.

⇐ 2017 Red Hill Estate Cellar Door Release Pinot Noir
This pinot noir has a delicate perfume lift of dark cherries, bright red strawberries, earthiness, spice, and chocolate. It is complemented by a seductive palate of raspberries and currants with light gamey notes and tied together by fine silky tannins. Aged in high-quality, elegant French oak barrels this is a wine to enjoy with friends.

⇐ 2016 Red Hill Estate Single Vineyard Shiraz
Following eighteen months in French oak barrels, this wine displays aromas of plum, mulberry and cherry conserve in the glass. This shiraz exudes deep palate flavours of licorice, blood plum, blackberry and mulberry, finishing with silky velvet tannins and lingering creamy vanillin. With a depth and layering of flavours and structure, this wine will enhance in the glass as it breathes.
