A decade ago, Rahona Valley lay hidden. The original 3-acre vineyard was established in 1991 but purchased by Toby and Dianne in 2014. The pair set about transforming the hidden gem of unruly vines into a sparkling star that thrived under their tender care. The effervescent journey was guided by a desire to bring a little of Champagne’s soul to the Mornington
Peninsula.

In 2019, they met Natalie Fryar, the queen of sparkling rosé in Australia. She inspired them to jump even further into their bubbly crusade and joined them on the journey. In 2020, they established the Australian Cuvee Centre, a winery facility dedicated to making sparkling wines that is a haven for Rahona Valley winemakers.

The Rahona Valley mission is to create wines that are seriously delectable. Provenance, precision and patience all play a vital role. Having expanded over 20-acres under vine with vineyards across the Mornington Peninsula, Rahona Valley currently has a range of more than fifteen sparkling wines, uniquely Australian spritz and a complementary range of cool climate table wines. The journey has filled their lives with new challenges, a thousand stories, a million stars and unending sparkling joy.
