Hesket Estate faced an extremely dry summer between 2025 and 2026, bringing significant challenges to the region. In 2026, Hesket Estate will collaborate with Western Water and Dr Mary Retallack to plant native grasses and restore flora in the area.

Unfortunately, Hesket Estate was impacted by the Victorian bushfires following the fire at the Harcourt Cool Stores. As a result of the significant amount of stock lost in the bushfires, new vintages will be released sooner than expected. Hesket Estate was not alone in facing these challenges and hopes consumers will continue to support local Victorian wineries by buying direct.
