Stefani Estate is excited to announce that its highest vineyard site, ‘The View’ is currently in its third year of transitioning to become NASAA Certified Organic. The winery’s vineyards are planted across three unique sites, offering a variety of growing conditions, making Stefani Estate one of the highest vineyards in the Yarra Valley. Of these three sites, vinicultural practices for The View aim to produce quality low yields of fruit, in turn leading to splendid wines that will soon earn this site the certified organic stamp.

Among these new varieties planted in the organic program are riesling and sangiovese, taking up just over 10-acres of glorious cool climate land. All pruning, growing and harvesting are carried out by the small yet dedicated team, where the lutte raisonnée – directly translating to ‘the reasoned struggle’ – approach is taken to farming; meaning chemicals are used less often than traditional farming, helping Stefani Estate reach its organic status.
