Rutherglen Estates was formed in 1997 and in late 2019 was purchased by the De Bortoli family. The family started wine production in 1928 in Bilbul, NSW. The company has grown over time to now include cellar doors in the Yarra Valley, Hunter Valley and Bilbul.
