This summer, CHANDON Australia unveiled a meticulously reimagined Homestead at its Yarra Valley estate. This exclusive venue offers guests an immersive experience that marries the rich heritage of the vineyard with contemporary Australian art and design.
The Homestead’s transformative interior redesign, orchestrated by Melbourne-based interior designer Melanie Beynon, stands as a bold statement of elegance and warmth. The harmonious colour palette of soft pinks and earthy tones reflects the hues of CHANDON’s sparkling wines, while organic textures and materials celebrate the natural beauty of the Yarra Valley. The space exudes a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance, perfect for refined food, wine experiences and events for up to fifty guests.
A curated collection of furniture pieces, artworks, ceramics, and decorative objects from more than twenty local Australian artists and designers adds layers of narrative to the Homestead. Notable contributions include a custom hero dining table by Barbera, a delicately toned bottle wall sculpture by ceramicist Kristin Burgham, and statement wall hangings by textile artists Jacquie Lazzarotto and Emma Shepherd. Each piece uniquely celebrates the beauty of the natural landscape and connects to CHANDON’s winemaking history.
