Situated in the beautiful Goulburn Valley, Tahbilk is thrilled to announce their new and engaging winemaker blending experience. Established in 1860, the winery continues to pay homage to the tradition of old-world winemaking. Guided by an expert wine ambassador, the winery is offering visitors the opportunity to learn how to taste like a winemaker and explore the difference between wine varietals and their unique palette. This fascinating experience is hosted in Tahbilk’s Lens Evans, an historic building which was built in 1875 and hosts a great amount of the Tahbilk’s history. As well as being deeply personal, the experience is incredibly meticulous as it centres around the Great Australian blend of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz.

After an in-depth guided tour, visitors use their newfound knowledge to combine different varietals to create their own signature red wine blend to bottle and take home. With the duration of the experience being ninety minutes long, visitors have an adequate amount of time to practice the art of winemaking.
