The 2023 harvest has just wrapped up at Kilgour Wines, and it has been a sensational year for the vineyard. Kilgour Wines is proud to announce its first shiraz: Best Old Block – with notes of pepper, clove and mixed spices wafting from the glass and a wonderful medium bodied depth of flavour. As always, pinot noir is a feature at the winery with the gamey aromas of Abel clone blended with MV6 making a delicious medium bodied wine. The chardonnay fruit was exceptional this harvest, with glorious fruit driven flavours and fresh acidity. Alongside the ever-popular merlot and pinot gris, the brand-new shiraz and perfect pinot noir and chardonnay shine at Kilgour Wines.
