A New Look For The Provedore
Following a seven-month closure and now with a new look, Mitchelton has reopened doors to The Provedore, offering guests a secondary dining option at the expansive Mitchelton estate. The Provedore offers large and small cafe style meals as an alternative dining option to the estate’s hero restaurant, The Muse. The team has created an inviting menu, offering options for both foodies and families.
In keeping with the Mitchelton’s cooking ethos, the menu celebrates the hyper-local produce available throughout regional Victoria, including smoked Murray Cod paired with chilli scrambled eggs, fresh Dalhousie eggs and wildflowers sourced from the region. The new look Provedore has grown two-fold, now offering seats for up to 146 diners with a focus on communal dining, conceptualised by Cera Stribley architects. Mitchelton Wines’ focus is always on offering authentic experiences. From the hotel and cellar door, to the gallery and the dining options, guests are welcomed to experience the very best of regional Victoria.
All of the grapes have been picked, fermented and the winemakers are now putting the final touches on the white blends and have tucked the reds away for the winter, nice and cozy in the underground cellar to mature and come together. The picking may be complete for the year, but whether winter or summer, there’s something for everyone at Mitchelton Wines and the team can’t wait to welcome you to the estate.
