A Fruitful Year
Undoubtedly a year unlike any other, 2020 has seen many businesses hard pressed to adapt their methodology to accommodate the unprecedented challenges presented to them. In a time of much uncertainty and turbulence, Black Wallaby Wines has continued to rise above these challenges, securing itself several awards for its exquisite range of recent vintages.
Receiving an astonishing number of trophies for its exceptional wines at the 2020 Daylesford Wine Show, Black Wallaby Wines consistently demonstrates its stroke of genius for its divine flavour combinations and masterful winemaking. The winery’s trophies were received for the Best Shiraz of the Show, Best Red Wine in Show for its 2018 Shiraz, and a final trophy was awarded to Black Wallaby Wines’ Winemaker David Lawson within the category of Small Winery (<25 tonnes) which Makes its Own Wine.
In addition to Black Wallaby Wines’ remarkable number of trophies, it was also the recipient of a Gold medal for the 2019 Jimmy Shiraz, a Silver medal for the 2019 Estate Shiraz and Bronze medals for the 2020 Ruby Rose and the 2020 Albino Blend.
As 2021 has already invoked feelings of optimism and has been deemed a year of betterment and hope by many, Black Wallaby Wines look forward to the future and continuing to grow its achievements throughout the remainder of the year.
